Saad Abdul-Amir scores against ex-club to open up Al-Ahli account

Iraq midfielder, Saad Abdul-Amir, netted his first goal for new club Al-Ahli tonight (Monday) in their King’s Cup last-16 match against Al-Qadisiyah.

Abdul-Amir made the move to the Jeddah giants last month and it has only taken him five appearances to open up his account for The Classy.

And Abdul-Amir, who captained the Lions at the 2016 Olympics, bagged his first goal against who else but former side Al-Qadisiyah.

Instead of performing his trademark celebration, the Iraq international held his hands up in the air as his teammates swarmed to congratulate him. A sign of respect to the Club he served for just under two years.
